The Shed

The shed is the central communal area which forms the focal point for Overstone Cottages. It was originally the horse stables which has been extensively renovated whilst still retaining the character and ambiance of the farm, in particular the original stone walls. It is the ideal venue for all types of functions and events ranging from intimate weddings to small corporate conferences or just a group of friends wanting a country getaway. The facilities include a fully equipped large modern kitchen suitable for all levels of catering, a large central dining / entertainment space opening onto a large expansive veranda and grass area ideal for both indoor and outdoor events. There is also a more intimate and cozy lounge / television room for relaxing.
